As fall harvest begins, planning for spring is upon us
Fall on the farm is a season of gratitude and planning. Our family harvests soybeans this time of year, so we closely monitor the weather to ensure the best possible harvest. We are also preparing for the arrival of our next group of young goats and the start of milking again. Planning ahead helps everything fall into place. Our booth at the Michigan Renaissance Festival keeps each weekend especially busy, where we invite customers to sample 12 new scents. This year's favorites are Perfect Man and Baja Cactus Blossom, and both will be joining our collection.

HERE IS THE START OF OUR STORY
Our Story Established 2007
It all started with a simple desire — to create pure, gentle products for my family, free from dyes, sulfates, and harmful additives. After researching natural soap-making, I fell in love with the idea of goat's milk soap. So, for our anniversary, my husband did what any supportive partner would do: he bought me a goat! 🐐
That gift truly keeps on giving. I started with small batches, and soon everyone in our lives was unwrapping handcrafted soap for Christmas, birthdays, and every occasion in between. The response was overwhelming — friends and family encouraged me to share these soaps with the world, and Nellie's Natural Soap was born.
Today, we're still crafting every bar with the same love and intention — no dyes, no harmful additives, just wholesome ingredients you can feel good about. Our business is a true family affair, with everyone pitching in to make it a success.
We are endlessly grateful for every customer who chooses to support a small, local, family-run business. It means the world to us. Follow us on Facebook for tips, updates, and a behind-the-scenes look at life on our little farm! 🌿 Sign up to receive email specials and promos as well.
